One item that we have little or no appreciation for is the number of sacrifices which were offered to Jehovah the God of Israel. In Scripture, these was pretty much an on-going constant thing. There were daily sacrifices, Sabbath day sacrifices, monthly sacrifices and sacrifices on special feast days. There is no indication that the daily sacrifice was ever set aside on the Sabbath day or that either of these sacrifices were set aside on any given day of a feast.
