War is presented as something that ought to be practiced in good taste. A decline of realism, morale and in the United States Army, and army personnel is taught to be able to defy the orders of an officer over him. A gentile loser is still a loser, and often a dead one.

Congressmen stand up and try to get handguns banned. When you disarm law-abiding citizens, you make crime increase. You shoot criminals who break into your home. Every law-abiding citizen needs to know how to use a gun and have one.

Bob can look at some of these women and can tell they would march for peace. You’re idiots. You are marching for the destruction of your country. So it is apropos to understand the Biblical background for all of this.

Coming to the waters and drinking is positive volition toward the gospel and believing in Jesus Christ. Here, we have water meaning something else.

We will now have the attack upon human freedom. Nov. 11^th was always Armacist day and now it has become Veterans Day. It is ow always a Monday, to give a 3-day holiday. A person can be smart and know divine establishment, but then say no to the gospel.

Many sincere, well-meaning preachers fill you with tripe. They catch you in the hospital, when you are sick and can’t escape. A pastor-teacher ought not to be calling on anyone.

You come to see Bob everyday, and you won’t need him. People will pray for you since you are on the prayer list. But you are kidding yourself if you think you are going to get a call from Bob. If he came to the hospital all of the time, he could only give some warmed over devotional to challenge the brethren.

You’re not going to get any letter; you’re not going to get any visit from me. All it will do is build up your fat ego and it will bust before your heart does. So Bob is not going to contribute to the delinquency of spiritual minors.

Bob suggests that we ought to go to the first bombastic church of Houston, and they will visit you and build up your lusts.

Here is your national council of churches; they promise freedom, but they themselves are slaves of corruption. Alutheria. They keep on promising liberty or freedom. They exist in a state of slavery to depravity.

The Doctrine of Human Freedom

1. The Mosaic Law connotes responsibility. Therefore, freedom demands a sense of responsibility. The egyptian slavery of the Jews, they did not and could not function as a nation. Once free, they had a responsibility toward God, to maintain their freedom as well. God therefore, gave them the Ten Commandments. There are hundreds of commandments, but the Decalogue provides a freedom code; a responsibility toward human freedom. The Ten Commandments is a decalogue of human rights and human freedom.

2. Since human freedom is a divine institution, it is an extension of the Angelic Conflict. Nonmeritorious human volition is the basis of eternal salvation. Angelic Conflict demands salvation through free will.

3. Therefore, human freedom must be perpetuated in human history. So God has designed laws to protect human freedom. True morality is always a protection of human freedom. Morality recognizes the rights of others and the morality of a situation.

4. The plan of God gives human freedom a relationship with God and a purpose in life related to God.

5. All sin, known and unknown, involves the sin nature. Once acquired, the sin nature requires volition in order to commit that sin. Therefore, volition is involved with every sin. Ignorance of the fact of sin does not change this principle.

6. Volition and human freedom is the basis for true love. The response to love comes from the female; love must be initiated from the male. The rm must preserve the freedom of his woman.

7. Human freedom is the basis for determining human maturity. That is taking full responsibility for one’s own decisions.

8. Volition in order to be saved.

9. You will not, in the Mosaic Law, indicates responsibility of protecting human freedom through the observation of certain divine laws.

10. Entering the military in order protect freedom. They subject their own freedom to their officers in order to preserve the freedom of a nation. Who attacks the Bible, the military etc., the National Council of Churches.

We have abandoned anything which resembles the laws of divine establishment in our foreign policy and moving toward that in our domestic policy. We have departed from common sense. We have gone all the way over under the Johnson policy to the Nixon policy, who are both way out, anti-American. 90 miles off the coast of Florida are missile bases pointed toward us.

We have turned the people of South Vietnam toward communism, despite the person courage of our men who fought there. Another lesson in, how stupid can you be and still survive? We have had a vicious squandering of lives the Vietnam. We might as well built a huge toilet and dumped billions of dollars into this toilet; and the communists have gotten much of this money in the black market.

Greatest loser in American history, Ambrose Burnside, and if he had supreme command, the north would not have won the war. He made mistakes almost beyond human understanding. No one has failed on a grander scale than Ambrose. He almost caused a second war within the war between the states. A reporter pointed out some of Burnsides’ mistakes, and he almost had this man shot until Lincoln intervened.

The news media has tried to make Westmoreland to look like a winner, and he is not. The Tet Offensive was as bad as Dion Dion Fu, but the media kept us from knowing this.

How it is possible to start out with great common sense and then park it. Nixon has a vice president who almost spit in the eye of the kremlin, and now he is giving everything away? People start out smart, and then start doing some unbelievably stupid things.

These are false teachers. Epaggelô. They are unable to provide freedom because they are under slavery themselves. We are told that some things are necessary for freedom, like the greatest good for the greatest number or the idea of helping this or that minority, and therefore, give them everything.

Let’s say there was a national organization for the promotion of poor white trash. Every time the federal government tries to do this, where does the money come from? Socialism kills the initiative of those who foot the bill. A successful businessman notices that he is not enjoying the benefits of work, and his money is allowing some Black person to watch television all day. He is helping poor white trash to live without any visible means. He too decides, why beat my brain out to pay exorbitant taxes?

LbJ discovered that he made a terrible mistake with going inito Vietnam, so he tried to compensate for it by more giveaway programs. Nixon had to show he was as good as Lyndon to show he is just as good. The idea is to buy votes. The end is disaster.

There are those who are unable to take care of themselves, and we are not talking about these people. All giveaways are to get a political party in power and to stay in power. And they extend the franchise. As more idiots are extended the franchise, like 18 year olds, who know as much about politics and Bob’s dog, who is trained to bite all liberals.

We live in the day of the twilight of common sense. The sun is about to go down. People will look back on this as the declining days of the United States and how we descended down into complete madness.

Have you ever asked yourself, the United States went over there in WWI and we pulled the fat out of the fire for the French and the British...and little Belgium. Do you think that the French like us? Do the British like us? In WWII, we liberated France and today, they despise us.

The French have always used us just as far back as Benjamin Franklin. Just who have we delivered in our 2 world wars. The Japs were out to get us and to take the west coast. But it never made sense to MacArthur for FDR to give away most of the globe to communism under the guise of doing something for this country. So we ask, how were we protected and defended in WWII? There are 2 prices for everyone in the world; a higher price for Americans. They like our dollars.

This passage tells us that we lost our common sense when we turned our backs on Bible doctrine. Democracy is the worst form of government that ever existed; and we are not even a democracy. What democracies were formed after WWII?

Apart from our pride, the sinking of the Lusitania; but what else did we gain? What have we ever gained? Bob can tell us what was gained in the War of 1812, the Mexican War, the Spanish-American war, and our war for independence. Now you tell me what we gained in WWII, in the Korean War, in the Vietnam War? In the last century, the British went into Africa and gained, into the Caribean and gained, into India and gained. We have lost everything due to liberalism. There has been no good president since Theodore Roosevelt, which was American at her decline. When a man like Woodrow Wilson destroyed America by showing us the way to liberalism. Calvin Coolidge knew when to keep his mouth shut and smile. We have had about 4 generations and each generation gets worse.

Many of you were propagandized about WWI. Our armies drank up all the French wine, and then we came back and put in prohibition. It guarantees that the gangsters will have a good day. Prohibition change the Mafia headquarters from Italy to the United States.

Between the world wars, we destroyed ourselves economically. We allow people to play the stock market without capital. FDR is the nightmare of all nightmares. He betrayed our nation to communism. He did things that make Benedict Arnold look like a saint. He was a brilliant general who saved our neck. So they took Gates a jackass and promoted him over Arnold. He was the best general that we had. He got a little bitter about the jackasses placed over him. Gates would not make a good farmer, let alone military.

Why are we where we are? Why have we committed troops all over? Who gained in WWI and WWII. Western Germany and northern Italy and France all gained in prosperity. Our former nation in Japan is one of the greatest nations in the world.

Huparcho they keep on existing in a status of slavery. They are slaves to corruption, the old sin nature. Slavery is not wearing shackles; slavery can be stronger than that. Hetaomai means to be defeated.

You start out with liberals in politics and religion. You listen and you have scar tissue which builds up on the left and right banks. They promise freedom that they themselves do not have. They promise this to entice you. The sin nature in operation is the emotional revolt of the soul. Their emotion controls their souls and they lead us in the same way.

We have been defeated in our thinking and at the conference table and since the end of TR’s regime. From Woodrow Wilson until today, we have been in defeat. We have made it possible for communists to take over more and more. Westmoreland was kicked upstairs when he made mistakes like the Tet Offensive.

General Giap has done something that no one else has been able to do. He has a flurry over in the highlands, and then he gets the American troops up there, and then he hits the people. Our brilliant general died of cancer. The United States has lost more in Vietnam than the French did, even though our men are the best fighting men.

An unbeliever has the laws of divine establishment in his soul. He picked them jup at home maybe and he can think. Let’s say he goes to a JW deal or he hears some anti-military thing there or even in the Southern Baptist Sunday school literature. He hears this stuff, and he says, “No.” This is contrary to what he thinks and he says, “No” because it is contrary to his understand of the laws of divine establishment. He is a common sense unbeliever.

Satan has organized this to make his thinking appealing. Previously, he escaped the defilement of the cosmos. He heard it and he escaped it.

En + the instrumental of ἑπίγνωσις. This is Bible doctrine in the human spirit. This is ἑπίγνωσις used with an unbeliever. The unbeliever hears the gospel in witnessing. He does not havea human spirit. No one can understand spiritual phenomenah apart form having a human spirit. There is no human spirit in the unbeliever, so we have the convicting ministry of the Holy Spirit, he hears it and understands it by the Holy Spirit which acts as a human spirit. This is the doctrine of common grace. He takes what is true in the presentation of the gospel and it makes sense to the unbeliever. It is transferred to the right lobe. Now volition is involved.

No one is saved by asking Jesus into your heart. The Bible is clear on this. It is an exhale of faith. You exhale faith in Christ. It is not a matter of semantics; it is a matter of what the Bible teaches. The object of the faith has all of the merit. Inviting Christ into your heart is salvation by works, like walking an aisle or jumping through some psychological hoop.

“On such and such a day, I invited Christ into my heart.” That is malarkey. However, this guy says no to ἑπίγνωσις gospel. It sets up a vacuum that sucks in Satanic doctrine. Once you have satanic doctrine. The first time, he escaped. Then he has ἑπίγνωσις gospel; so he fully understood it; and he says no to the gospel.

Having escaped the defilements of the world through the ἑπίγνωσις of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in the defilements of theh world. Once you say no to ἑπίγνωσις doctrine, then you build up scar tissue.

A person has become enslaved in the previous verse; in the perfect tense. Here we have someone who hears false teaching and he says no to it; then he hears the gospel and says no to that; and now he hears false information, and his latter state is worse than the first.

The Pattern of Enslavement

1. Exposure to false doctrine caused the unbeliever to say no to it.

2. The same person is exposed to the ἑπίγνωσις form of the gospel and he rejects it. He is again been involved with false teaching.

3. The latter end is worse than the first. Scar tissue is formed on the left bank of the soul.

4. This opens up the vacuum of the soul, mataiotês, which is usually rendered vacuum. This changes the mental attitude and viewpoint and norms and standards and the frame of reference, and this person turns away from truth, which he once accepted.

5. The dominant lobe becomes passive to the emotional revolt of the soul.

6. The soul in emotional revolt become positive toward false doctrine, so that the latter end is worse than the first. You say “yes” to false teaching in the end.

Someone hears the JW’s and says “no” because he is an unbeliever with common sense. However, then he hears the gospel, rejects it. Then he goes back and he hears the same message and says “yes” to it this time.

The unbeliever accepts false teaching or political views that they had previously rejected. In stability of soul, they have rejected the truth. The emotional revolt of the soul turned the believer from positive to negative. This happens after rejecting the gospel. Once you say no to the gospel, you can turn against that which you once accepted. He might even be a former veteran and now he throws his medals away and walks with the hippies.

People who are negative toward divine establishment become worse with age. At least the unbeliever minus teaching has a chance. False concepts and politics. He is now under strong delusion. This is the condition of reversionism. This leads to slavery to that which is false. You will know doctrine and doctrine will make you free. And here, this is the antithesis to that.

The pharaoh of Egypt, Judas Iscariot, Cain all illustrate this. Herod the Great. Believers also fall into this pattern. King Saul is an example. The Exodus generation.

2Peter 2:20 For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge [ἑπίγνωσις] of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them [by this (false doctrine) they are involved] and overcome [and defeated by this], the last state [latter end] has become worse for them than the first.

Imperfect tense to follow. It kept on being better. They go from freedom to false teaching. When they go from one to the other, they are now worse off.

Perfect active of epiginosko. In the 3^rd stage, they hear the truth and they go negative. Better to not understand and to say no.

Hupostrepo is a strong word for turning away. The holy commandment is to believe in Jesus Christ. Paradidimi. The holy commandment was delivered to them.

2Peter 2:21 For it would have been [kept on being] better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it [fully] to turn back from the holy commandment [to believe in Jesus Christ] delivered to them.

Then there is a proverb which explains this. The disadvantage is to hear the gospel and to say no, so that they build up scar tissue and suck in false doctrine, and they become a worse person. They become a self righteous liberal.

Balderdash ate 3/4ths of a plastic wastebasket. It goes into his stomach, and he throws it up and now it is on the ground, usually on the rug, as vomit; and he will go back to it several times, thinking he may have missed something there. This time he eats his vomit. He goes back to what his stomach rejected.

Kuon is a dog. He was not man’s best friend then, but he was observed there anyway. He returns. He goes back into the Kingdom Hall and he hears all of this stuff about peace and he now believes it.

There is a second illustration. We now move to the pigs. Bob would not miss pigs if they all died tomorrow. Bob does not like ham or bacon; he doesn’t dislike it as much as lamb. Houç is the name for the sow. The sow returns, after being washed, to wallowing in the mire.

Any time a person, a believer or an unbeliever, goes negative toward the gospel; and for the believer, it is going negative toward doctrine; there is the result of entering into reversionism. Once in reversionism, the unbeliever accepts that which is false, which he rejected in the past. The believer in reversionism will inevitably go to the vomit and wallow in the filth. This is why Bible doctrine is so important to us.

2Peter 2:22 What the true proverb says has happened to them: "The dog returns to its own vomit, and the sow, after washing herself, returns to wallow in the mire."

Jer 8:9–16 The wise men shall be put to shame; they shall be dismayed and taken; behold, they have rejected the word of the LORD, so what wisdom is in them? Therefore I will give their wives to others and their fields to conquerors, because from the least to the greatest everyone is greedy for unjust gain; from prophet to priest, everyone deals falsely. They have healed the wound of my people lightly, saying, 'Peace, peace,' when there is no peace. Were they ashamed when they committed abomination? No, they were not at all ashamed; they did not know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among the fallen; when I punish them, they shall be overthrown, says the LORD. When I would gather them, declares the LORD, there are no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree; even the leaves are withered, and what I gave them has passed away from them." Why do we sit still? Gather together; let us go into the fortified cities and perish there, for the LORD our God has doomed us to perish and has given us poisoned water to drink, because we have sinned against the LORD. We looked for peace, but no good came; for a time of healing, but behold, terror. "The snorting of their horses is heard from Dan; at the sound of the neighing of their stallions the whole land quakes. They come and devour the land and all that fills it, the city and those who dwell in it.

This is around 580 b.c. and many of these people have developed edification complexes.

The wise are either edification complex types who have retrogressed or they are those who are thought to be wise.

Here, in either case, they have rejected the word of the Lord. Once you have reached the point of reversionism, what do you have left for wisdom? There is no wisdom; there is no principle of concept that can defend you, once you have run out of gas under reversionism. No matter how you slice it, the day you stop taking in doctrine is the day that you have had it.

Jer. 8:9 The wise men shall be put to shame [dried up, disgraced]; they shall be dismayed [terrified] and taken [to be taken as a prisoner; to be taken in by false doctrine]; behold, they have rejected the word of the LORD, so what wisdom is in them?

This would be fulfilled in the fifth cycle of discipline. They were raped and tortured by the Chaldeans. The fields are their property. He is hit in the pocket book and in the heart, where his human love is the strongest. This impresses anyone in a state of reversionism. The loss of one’s right woman and their economic stability.

It hurts the reversionist to lose his right woman and to lose his business. These losses are the most serious.

There is a doubling of batsa, which does not mean to be covetous, but to be cut in pieces or to be plundered.

The prophets and priests are both false communicators. Both sets of false communicators are judged.

Jer. 8:10 Therefore I will give their wives [their right women] to others and their fields to conquerors [new heirs], because from the least to the greatest everyone is greedy for unjust gain [all of them being plundered, they should be cut to pieces]; from prophet to priest, everyone deals falsely [produces lies; false doctrine].

V. 11 tells us the substance of their false teaching. Qalal means to regard a thing as small or unimportant; to be regarded as uninmportant.

Peace first refers to no more war and the second one is to prosperity. There is no such thing as freedom from warfare and no such thing as prosperity under reversionism.

Jer. 8:11 They have healed the wound of my people lightly [regarding this as unimportant matter], saying, 'Peace, peace,' when there is no peace.

Jer. 8:15 We looked for peace [we had confidence for peace], but no good came [but there is no good]; for a time of healing, but behold, terror.

There is no peace; Jesus said, “Sell your extra cloak and buy a sword.” No nation has freedom apart from winning it on the battlefield.

Jer. 8:16 "The snorting of their horses is heard from Dan; at the sound of the neighing of their stallions the whole land quakes. They come and devour the land and all that fills it, the city and those who dwell in it.

It is an objective of the communists to get us out of our circle, out of the continental limits of the United States. Fighting on interior lines means within North America. On the other side, we go all of the way to West Germany. So, strategically, we are on interior lines. So, the communists want us to pull our armies out and move them all over the place. Scatter our forces; get them all pulled out. Get them out beyond our spheres of defense.

Johnson’s Tonkin resolution was the first step in destroying our concept of interior lines. Putting out forces on Asian soil takes us out of interior lines. All great leaders in the past recognized interior lines. Napoleon, Frederick the Great. Once you overextend them, allows you to be defeated. Napoleon’s Waterloo campaign illustrates this. There was an allied army. Napoleon moved up and concentrated. He had all the advantage of concentration. 33,000 men moved outside of interior lines, which spelled his defeat at Willington.

We have a very small army and it is split up. We have 30 divisions, possibly; and the Russians have 400 divisions in all + tons of paratroopers. The Chicoms have about 400 as well. The Russian Navy is the most realistic Navy today. Thanks to MacNamara, the Russians have bypassed us in the air force. The Kremlin will applaud MacNamara for years. With our riff, we may be down to 15 divisions.

Our freedom has not been the problem, and only the Japs tried to get to us, and we stopped them at Midway. Europe despises us. You can go to France and be insulted by a Frenchman almost anywhere. We are ridiculed and we are despised; and you can go all over France and Belgium and find crosses over American graves everywhere. We are so stupid with respect to our use of the military. We have done one goofy thing after another related to the military. Westmoreland is not someone who ought to be a general. Our good generals will never get anywhere. Civilians without brains are afraid of generals with brains. Ever landing any soldier in Asia was a mistake. We do not have many soldiers. It takes a lot of money to train them.

Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon are politicians to the core. When you say Lyndon Johnson, you are saying a politician’s politician. When he pulled the biggest boner of all, he was smart enough to not run again. General Giap knocked him right out of the box at the Tet Offensive. He can always pop right in in the future. Being a smart politician and being a great statesman are 2 different things.

Going into Vietnam was his greatest mistake. Putting troops over there was a great mistake. Richard Nixon could have demonstrated moral courage, and pull all American troops out of Vietnam and the bank accounts in Switzerland. South Vietnamese officials have stolen us blind. They are anti-communists because they have profited from that. If they can profit by being communists, they will change. Ho Chi Mihn had menial jobs for years, like a pastry chef.

They are not familiar with western culture. Nixon could have ordered nuclear weapons and leveled North Vietnam, or he could have brought back all troops back from Vietnam and Europe, instituted universal military training, and made it clear, we are ready to go to war. Now, people know that they will not.

People when they get older try to have a quiet old age. This is no time for civilians.

Now let’s look at the military. Unfortunately, it was turned over the Westmoreland, and he was an okay artiliary officer. He then went to airborne and had a distinguished, but not unusal career. Maxwell Taylor has a lot of influence, and this caused him to be the youngest Major General of all time at 42 and then at 46 he took over ...? He has taken over the troops in Vietnam. He has lost at Kesong and the Tet Offensive; he is a mastermind in getting along with the people.

Colonel Coreson observed this. The VIP’s were brought in tired every time. A tired person is more vulnerable. Then they are feasted, which makes them sleepy. Then they are brought in for a staff review and they hear from 3 or 4 selective people, oozing with sincerity and hopeful about the war, and how X number of people and dollars are used here or there. This briefing lasts past midnight, and they are exhausted and retire.

The vutures are visiting scientists who have developed various technologies. A smellometer was to detect foods eaten, but this did not work, since there is not a different diet.

Then the think tanks, those who promote mickey mouse research projects. They test all of this goofy stuff. The 3^rd actor is the Arvin, the Army of the Republic of Vietnam, which was trained and equipped by the USA. It had several honest generals and they resigned over the brutality with which their own people are treated. They burn a village and rape and torture the people. They do this hundreds of time until the people would want communist rule to end this. The leaders are generally corrupt and they have lots of money. American money supports the SVN army, and they would turn on us in a minute.

The US military forces. The field grade officers are outstanding, generally speaking. The Marines did an excellent job, but they had a weakness. They are basically designed to make landings and to take beachheads. They are not trained to go into the land and take land. They do not have what is needed for modern warfare. The army is ready to fight anywhere at any time. The objective is to destroy the enemy army and not to take ground. The objective is to annihilate the enemy and this is done with the infantry. It is supported with all kinds of logistical support and the stuff needed to destroy the enemy. The Navy provided their medical needs. We did a stupid thing with the Marine corps, and they took a lot of casualties for it.

The Air Force has been given a tragic role. The Russians knew all of our strike times. Johnson felt he was forced to stop bombing North Vietnam. The Tet Offensive caused this. Coming out of the Vietnam conflict, we have splendid officers.

A casualty lilst of some 60,000 men tells us the Nixon and LBJ have squandered the lives of Americans needlessly. “To stop the Chinese communists?” We have helped their cause.

The people of South Vietnam. North Vietnam, for years, has been an industrialized organization. South Vietnam is mostly farmers and villagers. One big city Saigon. Many have become communists because they have been so maltreated by their own leaders.

Charles Faire From the Jaws of Victory and he examines many generals. The people of South Vietnam. The spirit among the non-combatants exposed to these methods, women, old men and children were impelled to take up arms against our troops. They had desperate attacks. This was motivated by rage. There were even attacks by bows and arrows. There is no line; anyone is the enemy and anything goes. A woman may walk toward you with her children and be carrying a grenade. A GI speaking about being disillusioned with his own country. Sorry attitude of the South Vietnamese people and the their leaders, who put money into their own accounts many times more than what they should be. He thought that there was a tremendous over exaggerating of how many we have killed. False paper reports to satisfy Washington. One officer killed and when his body was returned, his watch, wallet, money, gun etc. gone. It was later found on various South Vietnamese allies.

General Giap. Born in 1912. Like so many in the Communist end. Spent time in Europe doing odd jobs. He was a student not interested in fighting. However, he was eased into it. He became Ho Chi Minh’s top general. Greatest problem in fighting a French general.

The Japs were helpful to getting the communists into Vietnam. The Japs massacred the ntire Vichy army. When the French came back, Giap had taken over almost everywhere. He learned a trick after being beaten once. He learned not to engage any organized army on a battlefield situation. The French came up with the post idea. Set up a base camp of division strength. From the camp, they will come back and hit the rear of Giap.

The French had headquarters at Hanoi. Henry Nabar took over. Operation mooring point. French came in from the rear. 400 round trip for planes, and this Dien Bien Fu and there is a basin with mountains all around it. They sent paratroops.

There were 4 divisions. The French reserves were completely dissipated and they kept sending a battalion to here and then to there to put out fires, and this spread his reserves everywhere. It became impossible to support these people. Giap attacked piecemeal. He would use overrunning on the people in groups. The French were removed and in their place, the Americans went in. Green Berets as advisors, and then LJB sent in our troops.

Gap wanted to clobber the Americans to see what they were like. He made some displays to suck them out of the populated areas. When they got up there, enough troops were left to pin them down. Then he launched the Tet Offensive, which made us look pretty bad.

LBJ stopped bombing in North Vietnam, and maneuvering made Giap look ridiculous (or vice versa?) and LBJ decided not to run.

What are the possible solutions? (1) get out of Vietnam, out of Asia, bring back all of our troops; start universal military training, and we need to defend the continental limits of the United states and we needa about 200 divisions. We also need them for martial law, where necessary. We need to get back on a realistic basis. We are not logistically able to send people into Asia. It is worse with Nixon’s reduction of forces (riff). We need 70–80 missile launchers. We need good military roads. We need to build up a defense system where if one part of the country is under a nuclear attack, that another part is functioning. We must be able to deal with an offensive operating on interior lines. We need to use the Caribean as a part of our lines. We are so infiltrated by our concept of interior lines and we are in danger of being split. Our vulnerability is not at the Rhina, the Danube. Our vulnerability is much closer to home. Russian submarines are in the gulf, pacific and the Atlantic. (2) destroy Vietnam with nuclear weapons. We are already hated and not respected. Then, we deal with the corrupt government of South Vietnam, who have taken so much of our money. Then we should still get out of Asia. MacArthur said, we cannot win in a ground war in Asia. They have way too many people. We cannot do any more to lose face. Volar will never work. That is something Nixon would come up with.

We have ignored Cuba on interior lines and we have ignored the Russian submarines near our shores. We are trying to fight wars with a very small army and we are spreading them all over the world. This mistakes we have made are almost beyond description. There are born-again believers who are here tonite who are so goofy that they go in for any Satanic system. The only bright spot in this horrible picture is the fact that Jesus Christ is seated on the right hand of the Father and in grace, we have been preserved. This will not last indefinitely. We are already entering into the 4^th cycle of discipline. We can look and determine that we only have ourselves to blame.

A quote from Jeremiah. Our only hope is in the wise. We need to revise our entire military system.

We began a study of reversionism. We also took up the Vietnam situation, which is very pertinent to our study.

The National Council of Churches has been calling for the allowing of Red China into the UN and disarmament. They are expecting some great thing to come out of these 2 things, which would be the destruction of the United States.

Houston Post article: the taxpayer foots the bill for the UN, which is essentially a lot of spies. The date above is from the Post story. Bob was in a fight? It sounds that way.

Our policy with the UN is what would be expected from a nation of reversionists. The National Council of Church will say exactly what we find below.

Many of us are looking to the outside for happiness. We are looking to a particular person or a group; but there is no happiness apart from doctrine.

The Doctrine of Reversionism

1. Reversionism for the unbeliever is going from the laws of divine establishment to emotional revolt of the soul. 1Peter 1:19–22

2. The believer goes from the edification complex to the emotional revolt of the soul via negative volition toward doctrine and scar tissue.

3. Mechanics for unbeliever, given in 2Peter 2 it is being negative toward false teaching, and then hearing the gospel, rejecting it, and then going back and accepting the false teaching. In step 3, he hears that same false teaching and says “yes” to it. That is the moment that he is clearly in reversionism.

5. Gal. 5 all words begin with a primary meaning, but they come to have a seconardy meaning, which is usage. It means to be useless, powerless, unprofitable, unproductive or to be null and void. You all have become null and void...

The meaning of a word is determined by its usage and it means to drift off course. To stay on court during high winds, you have to turn the sails properly. There are conditions under which we will drift off course. It also means to fortfeit. They have drifted off-course from the grace, which is the plan of God.

You all have become null and void (useless, powerless, non-productive from the ultimate source of Christ. Whoever is vindicated by means of the Law, you have drifted off couse from the God.

6. Reversionism rejects the authority of a good pastor-teacher. Moses, Jeremiah and the Apostle Paul.

7. The mental attitude sins are the major contributor to reversionism. Heb. 12:15 See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God; that no "root of bitterness" springs up and causes trouble, and by it many become defiled; present active participle for looking diligently. Επισκοπεω to make and inspection; to ride herd on self, to recover from reversionism. To reversionism recovery from reversionism, one must make a number of decisions, like to get under authoritative Bible teaching. Hustereô, which means to false short, to be below standards, to be deficient of something. Doctrine requires a technical vocabulary. Goldwater wants the UN to be in Peking. Bitterness always travels in a mental attitude cluster. There must also be jealousy, implacability, hatred along with it. In order for the seed to sprout, the seed must die. The seed goes down the hole and it stops. Then it dies, then the root starts going up. Once a sin is confessed, it is dead, and bitterness and the mental attitude sins cluster comes from a sin which has been forgiven. Rebound is the last thing to go. The sin dies. It is forgiven and it dies, but there is a mental attitude sins cluster which springs up. When you are bitter or jealous, it is because you choose to be bitter, jealous, implacable, etc.; you choose it. You may be in reversionism now, but you don’t have to be there. Jer. 8:10 Therefore [because of reversionism] I will give their wives [their right women] to others and their fields to conquerors [new heirs], because from the least to the greatest everyone is greedy for unjust gain [all of them being plundered, they should be cut to pieces]; from prophet to priest, everyone deals falsely [produces lies; false doctrine].

The fracture is reversionism and they treat this lightly, saying, that there is peace.

Jer. 8:11 They have healed the wound [fracture] of my people lightly [regarding this as unimportant matter], saying, 'Peace, peace,' when there is no peace.

There is a word for faith here, and it is like Nixon, who has perfect confidence for peace. However, it is no good.

Jer. 8:15 We looked for peace [we had confidence for peace], but no good came [but there is no good]; for a time of healing, but behold, terror.

Jer. 8:16 "The snorting of their horses is heard from Dan; at the sound of the neighing of their stallions the whole land quakes. They [the invaders] come and devour the land and all that fills it, the city and those who dwell in it.

Heb. 5:11 continuing our study in reversionism. These people have 3 years when the book of Hebrews was sent. We have been a 2^nd rate power for a long time. Anytime you find an international organization, it is a part of cosmos diabolicus. Essentially, we have added the Chinese spies to here.

If President Nixon were a man with moral courage, he would pull every soldier off of foreign soil, shut down the UN, and then get ready. From the standpoint of establishment, those things can be accomplished.

People like that character who just walked out; he is confused. He is the picture of a Bolshevik.

Our passage is very apropos to the times in which we live. These people do not have the frame of reference with which to take in advanced doctrine. It is doctrine for which there must be a frame of reference.

Γινομαι is found here and not ειμι. Through reversionism, they begin to lose the edification complex, and the valve begins to shut down, and there is atrophies and it fades out. They are negative, regarding their hearing.

Heb 5:11 Concerning Whom, we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing.

They have the responsibility to take in doctrine on a daily basis. These believers have been saved long enough to know what is in the Bible. If you have been a Christian for 25 years, you ought to know all that is in the Bible. This is not saying that these should be teacjing prep school; it simply indicates that they ought to know enough to be teachers. A believer who cannot handle catastrophe or prosperity.

A previous assistant pastor used to set up meetings with key people. That is wrong. Διδασκω is a person who teaches a group. A congregation can be 3 people but not 2 (there cannot be a 1 on 1 teaching).

All of these falling passages make these confused believers think they they have something against eternal security with them. The writer tells them that, they keep on having these need for basic teaching, when they ought to be teachers. These are people who have learned and they have to be taught again. They need the basic ABC’s of doctrine.

Paul got bad advice and he took it, offering a sacrifice in Jerusalem. He was put into prison for 4 years because of this. Some madison avenue stunt will not gain Paul a hearing, and that is what he was expected to do.

There is a proper time for a child to live on mother’s milk. It just makes little sense to do this at age 25.

Heb 5:12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need [breast] milk, not solid food,

Doctrine cannot be used until it has been cycled. Απηρος ignorant, not experienced. A pastor came in and saw Bob’s congregation and he asked Bob, “How do you get this many in here?” referring to about 1000 people who were there. He wanted to know what was done to get people around the church to work.

What We Know about Babies

1. A baby is helpless. You must do everything for a baby. This is why some churches have programs. No function of his anatomy can be handled by himself. Must feed him, bathe him, give him attention, and change his diapers.

2. A baby cannot eat solid food.

3. A baby has no scale of values.

4. A baby is all emotion and no mentality. Their entire criterion is how they feel. Babies rarely carry on great conversations. Reversionism is a baby with no vocabulary and no doctrine

5. A baby does nothing which is productive; besides requiring a lot of attention. A believer with Bible doctrine becomes self sustaining. However, babies are not self-sustaining.

Heb 5:13 for everyone who lives on [partakes in] [mother’s] milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child.

Τελιος refers to a mature believer and a believer with an edification complex of the soul. Solid food belongs to the ecs types. Dia + hexos, it means because of exercise or practice. Physical exercises tones up the body as doctrine tones up the soul. Perfect tense of γυναζω. Physical exercise is always profitable. Exercise heping the physical body is like gap helping the believer to grow. We have a representative analogy.

Heb 5:14 But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.

The main verb is let us go on; and the action of the aorist participle precedes or is coterminous with the main verb. You must first master basic doctrine and then leave it. Basic doctrine is ἑπίγνωσις in the human spirit.

Φερο usually means to pick up burdens; here, it means to move toward a goal. This is present tense linear action sart. You have to understand vv. 1–2 in order to understand v. 6. Rom. 12 and other passages only give partial lists of spiritual gifts.

Once you have laid a foundation of Bible doctrine, you don’t go that way again. What follows is a list. With μετανοια we get a list of basic doctrines. This means a change of mind about dead works. Dead works is human good. You must change your mind about human good, or you can never get out of the basics. Most of what occurs in local churches today is strictly human good. They pray in the energy of the flesh, knock on doors, have strawberry festivals, all in the power of the sin nature. You must change your mind about human works; this is the first floor in the edification complex, which is grace orientation. When the Greeks repeat a list, they do not repeat the list; they will repeat the first word of the list, and that will stand for the whole list. This will occur again in v. 6.

Salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ. This faith is probably belief in Bible doctrine following salvation.

You do not ask Jesus into your heart; the method of salvation is faith in Christ. This is also the difference in inhale and exhale. You exhale faith toward Christ.

Βαπτιζω is transliterated. It means to identify with something else. There are real identifications and representative identifications.

Heb. 6:1 Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation: of repentance from dead works [a change of mind concerning human good] and of faith toward God,

Baptisms

1. Moses and the children of Israel pass through the Red Sea dry. Those immersed drowned.

2. The baptism of the cup. Matt. 20:22 our sins are poured out upon Christ and judged.

3. The baptism of fire; all unbelievers are cast off the earth and gathered for burning. Believers who survive go into the Millennium.

4. Baptism of the Spirit.

5. John’s baptism put someone under water to identify them with the kingdom.

6. Baptizing Jesus, the water represented the Father’s plan.

7. Christian baptism, which water is Christ in His death. We go down and down with human good; we are raised up, which is up with divine good.

The laying on of hands, used for blessing, for ordination, where spiritual gifts are recognized.

Then there is the eternal judgment, where man is judged for his works. These are basic and simple doctrines. None of these are advanced doctrines. There is a list of 6 doctrines here, the first word is repentance. We also have abbreviations which refer back to various things, like op. Cit. Etc.

Heb. 6:2 and of instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.

This refers to reversionism recovery. The sin unto death is no way to die. It is being in reversionism and having the hurt put on you by God. Επιτρπω = to order, to allow, to permit. It takes time to recover. It takes time to recover. Recovery depends upon time; God has to give us the time to recover. If God does not give you time, you have had it. It also depends upon our own volition toward the Word of God. Reversionism recovery demands rebound and doctrine.

Reversionism recovery is impossible if there is not enough time left in your life. Let’s say you have been saved for 50 years and God has given you 51 years to live. If you go into reversionism after 50 years, even if you begin to recover, there is not enough time. It takes more than a half-year to recover.

There is the other time constraint of nation Judah, when Jerusalem would be taken out.

Aorist participles can be scattered all over the place and they come first and the action of the main verb comes after. We will now have a series of aorist participles. We have an aorist passive participle, the a middle, then a passive; then a middle and then an active participle. The main verb is so important that it is not a main verb, it is a noun.

The main verb is impossible to renew, and impossible is a noun, not a verb. There is double emphasis at the beginning of a sentence.

Then we have the participles. Aorist passive participle of having been enlightened; these are all of the times a person went to Bible class; they kept going and kept growing and the passive voice indicates that this is a grace system. A person functioned daily under gap with an edification complex and then he went out and blew it.

Having tasted the heavenly gift, which is an aorist middle participle. This does not mean to take a sip but not be saved. The middle voice means that the subject is benefitted by the action of the verb. Iterative aorist is a point of time divorced from time. Jesus tasted death for us; this is not just a sip.

The 3^rd participle is γινομαι. This will be the aor passive participle. This means to become and it refers to a partnership with the Holy Spirit. The believer receives the Holy Spirit apart from human merit.

Heb. 6:4 For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit,

Aorist middle participle of γυομαι. This is the building of the edification complex; the tasting of the beneficial Word of God. Then also tasting the power of the age to come. The power is that of the Holy Spirit and the power of the Word of God.

Heb. 6:5 and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come,

The there is the aorist active participle. Παραπιπτω Gal. 5:4 has a similar verb. You are drifting off course. Having fallen away means, to drift off course from grace. It also means to commit apostasy, to revert. This refers to the time that you turn away from Bible doctrine. Active voice means that you do it this time.

Ανακαινιζω means to restore. They are being restored to all of those things named. You begin with salvation, function daily under gap.

After those participles, the main verb kicks in. They have to be restored again to this list of these basic things.

they were going into the Temple and offering up animal sacrifices still. This, we do not do today, but we still fall into apostasy. Crucifying the Lord again is offering up these animal sacrifices. It is acting as if there is some additional sacrifice which is needed beyond what Jesus offered. This holds Him up to contempt.

Παραδεγματιζω means to make an example of, to expose to shame, to make publically contemptible. These Jews were confused here. The animal sacrifices taught the cross and once the cross occurred, the animal sacrifices were abrogated.

There are things today that make you negative. Today, it might be the boob tube. Whenever there is a conflict between the Word of God and what you see on televsion, Bible doctrine is correct. The fast crowd; or the National council of churches are also things that will make a person negative.

Heb. 6:6 and then have fallen away [having reverted], [it is definitely impossible] to restore them again to repentance, since [so long as] they are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm and holding Him up to contempt.

Now and again in history, a nation finds itself losing its military leaders, who are also its spiritual leaders. Judas Maccabees and Simon? were all great leaders, military men and spiritual leaders.

Cachma is the same as ἑπίγνωσις. The idea is to get kachma into the human spirit. This is national recovery apart from leadership, which ought to be encouraging to us. This is an unbeliever recovering from reversionism through the laws of divine establishment or a believer recovering by means of doctrine.

Prov. 24:3 Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established;

deia is knowledge here. This is the beginning of the function of gap. This is a military leader, a man of wisdom. This means that he knows Bible doctrine and has an edification complex and he is described as a military man. This is Judas Maccabees and his brother Simon and John Hyrconas. This is also the story of our failure in Vietnam.

What Wise Military Men Know

1. The principle of objective. A hero of wisdom would understand objective. The purpose of a military operation is the atainment of a particular objective. This is the guide for the interpretation of order. They are not to take territory but to destroy the enemy army, which is what we ought to be doing. The Tet offensive proves to us that the whole Vietnam army is intact. Taking land means nothing if you do not destroy the army of the enemy. You do not defeat the enemy until you get his army. We failed to do this in the Korean War and in the Vietnam war. In WWII, we stacked up dead Germans and Japs all over the map. Judas Maccabees functioned on this principle. In the military, whether yoyu are an amateur or a professional, you must destroy the opposition army. There must be a lining up with national objectives, which means to line up with the destruction of the enemy. When you commit yourself to a war, you must destroy his army.

2. The principle of offensive. We have completely lost track of this. Judas used this to gain freedom for the Jews. Offensive action is the only means by which an objective is gained.

a. Offensive action is the only means by which a decision is gained. You never gain a decision through defense. The minute a defensive team scoops up a ball, they are the offense.

b. When successful, the offensive brings victory while the defensive can only avaoid defeat. No one can win on defense.

c. The only effective way to wage war is to act offensively to deliver a blow in a decisive direction.

d. The offensive increases the effectiveness of the force adopting it as it raises morale, permits concentration of and allows freedom of action.

e. The defensive should be assumed only to assist offensive action elsewhere. That is 2Mansseh. This is to gain time or to utilize advantages of terrain because of weaknesses in your army.

f. Although the offensive confers great advantages, thiey can only be utilized when the means available are sufficient to provide chances for success. This is where applicantioin of doctrine comes in.

3. The principle of mass. Mass means combat power. Numbers, weapons, morale, leadership, tactical skill, fighting ability, discipline; this is the secret to the Maccabeen war. Judas has all of these things.

4. The principle of economy of force. Judas did not outnumber the enemy, when he came out of the mountains or desert, he had the upper hand numerically and tactically. The correct application of mass applied in a main effort.

5. The principle of movement. Movement keeps you aggressive. Strategy and tactics. Combat and maneuvering. To make certain you have the advantage of terrain and weapons. Movement is best when concealed. The ability to conceal a large force is quite effective.

6. The principle of surprise. You must have a wonderful organization which can move rapidly in the right place and direction with support forces there.

7. The principle of security, which embraces all the measures to guard against observation and enemy surprise.

8. The principle of simplicity. They should be simple enough for your foces to pull off what you are doing.

9. The principle of cooperation, working together, all of the support groups working with the main group; everything must be done to advance the infantry. These 9 principles are the whole art of war.

Prov. 24:4 and by knowledge the rooms shall be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.

Oz leadership demands a lot of study and a lot of work. As a military leader learns doctrine, he also begins to understand his own ability. Judas Maccabees is one of the great heroes of history and he again shows that the Jews are some of the great infantry of the world. Jews have a great military heritage.

Wise counsel is professional knowledge in the right lobe. The courage to apply it comes from the edification complex.

The worst translation at the end. The greatest danger in the world is in a multitude of counselors. 1 wise guy and a gunch of dummies. The more dummies you have, the more dangerous it is. A multitude of counselors means confusion.

Prov. 24:6 For by wise counsel you shall make your war; and in a multitude of wise men [the one counseling] there is safety.

great leaders will die in this war for independence; Judas Maccabees and Simon. There was some concept of the importance of doctrine. Doctrine in the souls of individuals carries the war to great freedom. Even when the leadership is bad and has fallen apart, there is one last protection for us as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is traitorous in this point of history to be a believer and not under gap every day.

This is the last verse on the Maccabeen war. When they fall, this will be to test the people. Can the remnant carry the nation.

When the ecs remnant fell apart, there was a split between the pharisees and the sadducees and Pompey came in and administered the 4^th cycle of discipline.

This is the test of reversionism. The ecs preserves the national entity. God in His grace uses great leadership;

Washington was a great military man; and we have fair leadership in the War of 1812. The greatest military leadership was found in the south in the Civil War. Lee, Jackson and to some extent Long street. General Grant was a stupid jackass. He was the best general that Lincoln had. By sheer attrition he forced Lee out. He knew one move and that was the hammer straight ahead. Every time you turn around, he would be taking great casualties. He just squandered thousands of lives needlessly.

Patton and MacArthur were our next great officers in WWII. A little president cannot stand for greatness. Firing MacArthur was a tremendous mistake. The best general cannot get to the top with the way things are. Right now, we have no leadership. Whether we survive or not depends upon the individual believer.

Russia has surpassed us militarily, which is not news to those in Berachah. If there is any possible way, the government will continue to chip away at our military.

Bob predicts that a lot of us will be in reversionism by Christmas. This makes you as much a traitor as FDR in Yalta. These are times when you just want to grab believers and punch the hell out of them. What you think of Bible doctrine has everything to do with your Christian life.

Some people looked bored and Bob says they ought to take their bored expressions and go elsewhere.

A remnant with an ecs. You go on defense somewhere for a short time to go on offense elsewhere. The Alamo bought time for the offensive from San Jacinth. That gave Sam Houston the time to pull together an army.

This takes us to a parallel situation, which is the Tribulation. We leave the Jews with their leaders dead.

Daniel 11:35 And many of those who understand shall stumble, to refine and purge them [recovery from reversionism], and to make white [the power of the ecs], to the time of the end. Because it is still for the appointed time.

This skips over the Church Age. The time of the end is the Jewish Age end, which is the Tribulation. Antiachus Epipohones and Demitries and suddenly we jump over to the Tribulation, the time of the end. The Church Age is skipped.

Intercalation

1. Between v. 35a and 35b is the Church Age.

2. The Church Age is a mystery, not revealed in the Old Testament. Eph. 3:1–5

3. The cross occurred in the Jewish Age; or the resurrection or the session. What is not taught is the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The universal priesthood of the believer and the universal indwelling of the Holy Spirit. The rapture is not taught. Those things in the Church Age was not taught in the Old Testament. Jesus Christ revealed the church in the New Testament. Matt. 16

4. The Old Testament reveals everything up through the session of Christ. And then it skips the Church Age and covers the Tribulation. From “Time of the end” in v. 35 to the end of the Daniel 9 is all about the Tribulation. The abominatino of desolation Atiachus Epiphenes puts up a statue in the Holy of Holies or somewhere in the Temple.

5. All doctrine pertinent to the Church Age is intercalated or inserted. Dan. 2:40–41 7 9 Hosea 3:4–5 Psalm 22:22–23 Isa. 61:1–2

6. Consequently, between the word white and the time of the end, there is a lot of information which is not given. We do not see king of the north or the king of the south; or how Judah is ruled by something after John Hyrconus. The Jews go back into reversionism. There is the fight between the sadducees and the pharisees. We do not have the death of Herod the Great and Judah becoming a Roman province. All of these events are passed over. There is a fight for freedom, and that is the parallel. There are leaders who die and the ecs group who bring them through. This time the leaders live and lead to the great fight. People with an ecs will hold out until Christ returns. When Jesus returns, His title is the Word of God and He slays the enemy with the Word of His mouth.

Dan 11:36 And the king shall do according to his will. And he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper until the fury is fulfilled. For that which is decreed shall be done.
